ANA Webinar for New Nurses on April 26
How to Bounce Back After Challenges at the Bedside
If you’re an experienced RN, you probably still remember your first really bad day on the job. Later this month, the ANA will host a free webinar to help new nurses and nursing students learn how to cope with setbacks in their practice.
This 90-minute webinar, entitled, “How to Bounce Back After Challenges at the Bedside,” is the latest in the ANA’s 2017 webinar series, How to Thrive in Your First Year as an RN. Presenter Cynda Hylton Rushton, RN, Ph.D., FAAN, a professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and Berman Institute of Bioethics, will discuss strategies for developing professional resiliency while reinforcing your connection to nursing’s core values of caring and compassion.
The webinar will begin at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time on Wednesday, April 26. While the event is free and is open to both ANA members and non-members, attendees should register in advance. You can find more information and the registration link on the ANA website, nursingworld.org.
