Job Description

The Cath Lab/Special Procedures Nurse is responsible for observing, evaluating, and coordinating the care given to patients in the Cath Lab/Special Procedures department. He/she participates in direct care and indirect care of all related activities according to the policies, procedures, philosophy and mission of the organization. In the event of the Supervisor’s absence, he/she will assume responsibility for the patients in the Cath Lab.

Qualifications

Current California RN license in good standing with the BRN, and CPR (BLS-C) certification.

Defibrillation certification.

Minimum of two years registered nurse experience preferred with at least one year critical care experience or medical-surgical or experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab/Special Procedures preferred.
