Job Description

City of Hope is one of the world’s leading comprehensive cancer centers. We are currently seeking nurse practitioners for our Hematology and BMT departments. The N.P. reports to the clinical nurse manager of HCT Advanced Practice Providers.

Major responsibilities including coordinating care for Hematology/ Hematopoietic/ Bone Marrow Transplant patients; taking histories; conducting physicals; conducting and interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing drugs and devices to patients. You will also blend evidence based practice with education and research, and empower nurses to make a difference.

Sign-On Bonus available for N.P.s with Oncology, Hematology and BMT experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited N.P. program.

• Master’s degree in Nursing.

• 1 + years of N.P. experience preferably in Hematology, Bone Marrow Transplant, Hematopoietic Cell Transplant or Oncology.

• Current California R.N. and N.P. License.

• Current N.P. furnishing license and DEA.

• Current BLS through the American Heart Association.

• Must be board certified.
