RN - Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Department: Nursing - L & D
Schedule: Full Time (36+ Hours Per Week)
Shifts: 12 Hour - (Both Day & Night Shifts Available)

Job Details:
The Clin II Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who is supervised by the Clin III RN, Nurse Manager/Nursing Director and contributes his/her services in providing patient care and education to the patient and family in accordance with the standards, policies, and practices of Valley Presbyterian Hospital. Delivers Nursing care and activities that create a passionate, supportive, and therapeutic environment for patients/families and staff with the aim of promoting comfort, healing, and preventing unnecessary suffering. Includes but not limited to vigilance, engagement, and responsiveness of caregivers. These services further the mission of Valley Presbyterian Hospital, which is to provide quality, cost effective healthcare for the people in the communities we serve.

Qualifications

Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing

Current BLS certification

LA City Fire Card within 30 days of hire

Minimum two (2) years clinical experience as a registered nurse in the acute care setting, and for the department to which the registered nurse resides.
