About CSUN Certificate in Perioperative Nursing
The Certificate of Advanced Professional Development Leadership in Perioperative Nursing is an 8-week program designed for working nurses seeking career advancement opportunities in the operating room.
The program curriculum is based on standards provided by the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN) – the field’s leading professional organization – and features twelve hours of weekly clinical practice.
Coursework includes lectures, classroom activities, online modules, and simulations. Upon completion, students will have the preparation needed to sit for the Certified Perioperative Credential (CNOR) exam.
