Responsible for direction of daily operations, overall management of department staff and support of patient care activities in the Emergency and Critical Care Departments, including human resources, physician relations, staff development, quality improvement activities and patient/family education using a multidisciplinary approach.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN or MBA preferred.
• Min 5 years clinical Emergency and Critical Care nursing exp with mgmt responsibility or administrative exp.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, courses of the AHA, and Management of Assaultive Behavior – PALS and MAB required within 90 days of hire.
