Clinical RN, Special Procedure
Job Description
Responsible for all standards of care and practice related to all regulatory requirements for procedural sedation; assists with the operations of the Procedural Sedation of special procedures patients including the nursing staffing, direct patient care, physician relations and patient satisfaction; and serves as a spokesperson for nursing patient care and a teacher to the staff regarding nursing patient care issues for both Diagnostic imaging and Cardiology.
Qualifications
Licensure and Certification:
- Current California RN license
- Current BLS provider cardCurrent ACLS provider card
Education:
- Associates degree in Nursing requiredBachelors degree in Nursing preferred
Experience:
- Minimum five (5) years experience in procedural sedation and nursing patient care skills
- Two (2) to three (3) years ICU and Critical Care experience required
