Under the direction of the Clinical Director, the department manager has 24-hour responsibility for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the hospital and the nursing unit and their effect on patient care. This position includes the oversight of Labor and Delivery. This position may require flexibility of hours. 

Qualifications

• EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accreditednursing program required. EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: Five years of related experience in area or clinical specialty.
• LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Required: Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) issued by American Academy of Pediatrics Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Provider (ACLS) issued by American Heart Association Preferred: Current certification in applicable nursing specialty
