The Administrative Manager for Perioperative Services is a professional with primary responsibility for educational programs for Perioperative Services. Patient care and services are carried out in collaboration with Service Line Coordinators, Ancillary manager, hospital administration and the medical staff and in compliance with organizational goals and appropriate regulatory agency requirements. 

Manages daily operations of assigned units; promotes a positive and professional environment; holds supervisory responsibilities; maintains adequate and productive staffing; collaborates with staff to meet or exceed quality and patient safety goals through shared governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
• CNOR Required Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field, or in progress, strongly preferred * Master’s Degree in Nursing may be in lieu-of Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Minimum of two years of experience in a management or nursing leadership position in the perioperative area required.
• Four years of experience as an OR RN required.
• Strong critical and strategic thinking, analytical and planning skills.
• Organization/time management skills

•  Valid unrestricted California Registered Nursing license required, Current BLS for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association, specialty certification preferred.
• ACLS required
• Los Angeles City Fire and Safety Certification. If employee does not have Los Angeles City Fire and Safety card upon hire one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date.
