RN Clinical – USC Oncology Hematology

As an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to provide therapeutic care to patients and their families in the outpatient setting. Assists with triaging phone calls for the doctors. Also assist the back office staff with patients.
Qualifications
- Eligibility, as defined by the California Board of Nursing, to have and maintain an RN license.
- One year experience in a related healthcare setting required.
- Oncology focus is strongly preferred.
- Experience giving chemotherapy and/or other types of infusions is also highly desired.
- Valid California Registered Nursing license. Specialty certification in oncology is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider card from the American Heart Association.
- ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Certification preferred when eligibility criteria have been met.
