Registered Nurse (RN) – CVOR — Orange Coast Medical Center
Job Description
The RN, Cardiovascular functions within their primary role of Circulator and/or Scrub. The RN, Cardiovascular complies and completes accurate and timely information on the Doctor’s Preference Card by creating new cards for the new procedures, and new surgeons and updating cards for changes in surgeon’s preferences of supplies, instrumentation and equipment.
This position is responsible for coordinating the activities of the Specialty Service; Oversees equipment/supply needs; Exhibits a mastery of nursing or scrubbing functions in the specialty service to advise and teach other patient care team members.
Qualifications
- Current California RN License required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or higher required
- BLS from AHA required
- One-year Acute Care experience in Operating Room Nursing required.· CV experience preferred.
- Computer, internet, order entry and word processing experience preferred.
