RN, Educator/Magnet Program Coordinator – Saddleback
Job Description
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Saddleback Medical Center. The employee shall support Saddleback Medical Center’s strategic plan and participate in and advocate performance improvement/patient safety activities.
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum five (5) years recent direct experience in an acute care setting.
- Teaching experience preferred, including knowledge of adult education learning theories and curriculum design.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Windows computer skills including proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.Two (2) years of experience in ANCC accreditation processes preferred.
- Expertise in data analysis, quality reporting, and performance improvement processes preferred.
- Experience in leading nursing excellence initiatives and project management preferred.
Education
- Current California RN license required
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
- Master's degree in Nursing preferred
- Certification in Nursing Professional Development preferred
- Certification in area of clinical specialty preferred (ie, PCCN, CCRN, RN-BC)
