Assistant Unit Manager II – Specialty Care
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is looking for Assistant Unit Managers II to assist Unit Managers with the management and supervision in the specialty care unit of Behavioral Health. This position is the second supervisory level in the nursing series and supervises Assistant Unit Managers I Specialty Care, Specialty Care Registered Nurses, and support staff. This position assigns and reviews work; writes and/or signs work performance evaluations as needed; participates in disciplinary and hiring actions; approves time off; observes staff to ensure clinical standards and objectives are met; assists staff with complex problem and ensures compliance with regulations and facility policies and procedures.

- License: Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.
- Experience: Two (2) years of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse, one (1) year must be in a specialty unit and six (6) months of experience as charge nurse or supervisor. Experience may be concurrent.
- Certification: Must possess and maintain current Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
