Licensed Vocational Nurse II – Corrections
The County is recruiting for Licensed Vocational Nurses II - Corrections who assist physicians, registered nurses and other health specialists in the treatment and care of patients in an adult population (Sheriff's) or juvenile/youth population (Probation) locked correctional facility. Duties include providing basic nursing care; collecting vital signs, blood, and specimens; and administering medications as directed.
Qualifications
License: Must possess and maintain a current Licensed Vocational Nurse license with the State of California.
Experience: One (1) year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
Certification: Must possess and maintain Basic Life Support certification.
