• Collaborate with the directors and staff to identify indicators of quality, safety and performance for data collection and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement throughout the organization.
• Work with the Director to develop dashboards and scorecards to depict internal metrics and benchmark comparisonsIdentify sources of valid and reliable information and metrics to monitor performance and outcome trends.
• Partner with the Information Services staff to provide actionable and timely data that supports various projects and initiatives (i.e. electronic transfer of data to meet regulatory requirements).
• Assists in the use of database applications, presentations, creating graphs and dashboard for the department and hospital.
• Builds audit tool for Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement

Qualifications

Education:  

• Must have current CA RN/LVN license.  
• Prefer, CPHQ certification. 

Licensure/Certification:  

• Must have current and valid California State RN/LVN license.  
• CPHQ Certification preferred.

Experience:  

• One (1) year healthcare-related quality management/performance improvement experience (i.e. chart audits, PI Team Member).  OR 2 years clinical experience in an acute care setting.  
• CPHQ certification highly desired.
