Special Issues

Each month, Working Nurse magazine is direct-mailed to the homes of RNs in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Bernardino. We are proud of our lively and informative content. Each issue features a cover story and nursing specialty, but three times a year we publish a special themed issue: National Nurses Week in May, Nursing Education in August and Men in Nursing in November.

May 6-12 is National Nurses Week, and we pay tribute with a cover story and special editorial in our May issue. Most hospitals reserve space to publicly thank their nursing staff.

This issue features articles on the joys and challenges of being a man in the profession. Honor the men on your nursing staff by participating in this issue.

In this popular column, we feature a different nursing specialty with interviews from RNs working in the area and a big tout on the cover. Need to recruit specific nursing staff? Pick your issue.

Is there something happening at your facility that would interest our readers? Perhaps it's an innovative program or a nurse who has received recognition. Let our editor know and if it's appropriate, we'll have our writers work with your team to put together an article for publication. We have two options: either a full-length feature or a half-page in the regular On The Quick column. EMAIL OUR EDITOR
