Job Description

In collaboration with the Nursing Director of ACC, the RN Clinical Coordinator in the ACC shares accountability for the 24 hour management of clinical nursing practice and patient care delivery, the management of human, fiscal and other resources, the development of personnel, compliance with regulatory and professional standards, unit strategic planning and the fostering of interdisciplinary collaborative relationships within the ACC and the organization as a whole.

Responsible for providing individualized, goal directed patient care to families and patients at the proficient level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.

Consistently models excellence in patient care and service excellence and contributes to unit leadership at a high level of proficiency.

Qualifications

Licensure and Certification:

• Current CA RN licenseCurrent BLS provider card
• CNOR certification preferred

Education: 

• AA degree Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience: 

• Five (5) years current nursing experience in the operating room 
• BSN/Bachelor’s degree in related field may be substituted for 2 years experience. 
• MSN/Master’s in related field may be substituted for 3 years experience
