Job Description

In keeping with the Dignity Health core values the Registered Nurse (CN II) is an experienced Practitioner who demonstrates in-depth knowledge of nursing patient care and the ability to practice independently.

The Registered Nurse (CN II) also serves as a resource person as well as a preceptor and under minimal supervision the RN (CN II) identifies and implements nursing interventions that have less predictable outcomesevaluate the results of these interventions for a given patient population and acts as a role model for CN I's.

Qualifications

• Current California Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR certification
• Six months (6) current medical/surgical nursing in an acute care setting or specialty area experience required
• ACLS Certification required

Preferred Requirements:

• Other certification as specified by area of practice preferred
