Assistant Nurse Manager – Santa Monica Surgery Center
Job Description

The Assistant Nurse Manger is responsible for assisting with clinical management and administrative coordination of the nursing unit. The position is a combination of direct clinical care and administrative responsibilities
Qualifications
- Current California RN license
- BSN or MSN3 years of recent acute care or Operating Room experience
- BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Ability to push, pull, lift, up to 35 lbs.
- Consistently achieves high standards in clinical duties and holds self to same standards
- Effectively listens and communicates to peers both positive and constructive feedback
- Consistently uses good judgment in making decisions
- Develop rapport with patients, patients families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintains positive attitude towards unit and work, helping to build unit’s positive reputationdeveloping a plan of care including setting goals, monitoring, and documenting progress
