RN Vascular Access Specialist, Ambulatory Infusion
Responsible and accountable for providing for placement of vascular access devices within the inpatient and outpatient hospital setting. In addition, collaborates with nursing and medical staff to determine the most appropriate candidates for PICC, Midline and Peripheral IV insertions and provide clinical staff with education relative to care and maintenance of the PICC lines, Midlines and Peripheral IVs.
Qualifications
Graduate from an approved school of nursing
Current California RN license
Current BCLS certification from American Heart Association
LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment
Two (2) years clinical experience in an acute care nursing setting.
Evidence of continuing education and self-development.
