Clinical Nurse Specialist RN NICU – Community Hospital San Bernardino
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate NICU Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Community Hospital of San Bernardino. Through advanced education and clinical practice, this role will serve as an agent of change and professional growth in a specialized clinical area, enhancing the quality of patient and family health care.
The NICU Clinical Nurse Specialist will embody the multiple roles of expert clinician, consultant, educator, researcher, and leader, all while actively participating in fulfilling the mission and core values of Community Hospital of San Bernardino.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical nursing experience, with at least one (1) year in a facility with a NICU equivalent to a Regional, Community, or Intermediate CCS NICU.
- New graduates as a Clinical Nurse Specialist will be considered, provided they hold a valid Clinical Nurse Specialist license in the state of California.
- Master’s and/or Doctoral degree in Nursing.
- California Registered Nurse License.Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) licensed by the State Board of Registered Nursing.
- Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing Certification from a nationally recognized accrediting organization.Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor Certification.
