Director Nursing Emergency Services – St. Mary Long Beach
Job Description
As our Director of Nursing Emergency Services, you will lead your team and drive the overall quality of care provided by the ER personnel. You will advise medical staff, other department heads, and administrators in matters related to patient care, clinical best practices, and strategies.
You will communicate the organization’s goals to the staff as we constantly seek to better serve our community by improving patient experience and delivering exceptional quality care. At the same time, you will advocate for your team by bringing any issues, requests, or new ideas from them to senior leadership.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (e.g. BSN) or equivalent education and experience and Master's degree in nursing or other-related field (e.g., MSN/MBA/MHA) required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience required.
- Minimum two (2) years of leadership experience required.
Required Licensure:
- Registered Nursing License (RN) in CA required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
