**We are offering to qualified and experience candidates a sign-on bonus not to exceed 10% of salary for this position.**

A fantastic opportunity for a Director of Perioperative Services for Bakersfield Memorial Hospital has just opened. In this role, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the Operating Room, PACU, and Outpatient Surgery.  Develop and manage budget, resource allocation, and scheduling.  

Regularly assess the unit operation and identify process improvements to enhance the patient experience.  Our surgical department consists of 10 operating rooms.

The OR suites are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including Robots.  All service lines are supported, including cardiac, vascular, ortho, general surgery, and neuro.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing (e.g. BSN) or equivalent education and experience and Masters degree in nursing or other-related field (e.g. MSN/MBA/MHA).
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience and three (3) years of nurse leadership experience.

Licensure:

• Registered Nursing License (RN) in state of practice.
