In collaboration with the Senior Director, Cardiovascular Services, the RN Clinical Coordinator in  Cardiac Cath Lab and Special Procedures shares accountability for the 24 hour management of clinical nursing practice and patient care delivery, the development of personnel, compliance with regulatory and professional standards and the fostering of interdisciplinary collaborative relationships within the Departments and the organization as a whole.  Responsible for providing individualized, goal directed patient care to families and patients at the proficient level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.  Consistently models excellence in patient care and service excellence and contributes to unit leadership at a high level of proficiency. 

Qualifications

Licensure & Certification:

• Current CA. RN license
• Current BLS provider card
• Current ACLS provider card
• National or state certification in area of practice preferred
• Member in professional organization preferred

Education:

• AA degree
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience:

• A  Five (5) years current nursing experience in specialty with demonstration of competent clinical judgment and leadership ability.
• Basic management experience including one (1) year progressive charge nurse experience.
• BSN/Bachelor’s degree in related field may be substituted for 2 years of experience.
• MSN/Master’s in related field may be substituted for 3 years of experience.
