Clinical Director, Emergency, Critical Care, DOU
Provides leadership and direction to management and line staff within identified departments, setting and meeting operational goals that support the organization's mission and vision, and ensuring effective achievement of these goals and performance targets.
The Clinical Director will provide visionary leadership and operational oversight for the Emergency Department (ED), Critical Care, Stepdown Unit, Trauma Services, and the Pre-Hospital Program. This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in high-acuity, fast-paced environments.
The Clinical Director will lead teams to maintain best practices, regulatory compliance, and implement strategies that enhance patient outcomes, staff engagement, and department efficiency. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in trauma care, critical care, and emergency services, along with strong leadership and communication skills to drive excellence across all clinical areas. This position may require flexibility of hours.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
- BSN required.
- Master’s degree in nursing, business administration, or health administration required.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
- Five years related experience in clinical area.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN)
SKILLS:
- Excellent managerial, communicative and organizational skills.
