Nursing Supervisor, RN – Interventional Radiology
Job Description
The Nursing Supervisor is a leader with sound clinical skills and actively assists the Clinical Director/Manager in coordinating both clinical and operational duties.
The Supervisor supervises departmental staff and Clinical Coordinators and/or Charge Nurses in an effective and efficient manner. This includes creating staff schedules, contributing toward department goals, and participating in necessary disciplinary actions for staff and supporting logistics of the operating arena.

The Radiology Supervisor supervises Radiology nursing staff and Charge Nurses in an effective and efficient manner. This includes creating staff schedules, contributing toward department goals, and participating in necessary disciplinary actions for staff and supporting logistics of the operating arena.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Req Bachelor's degree in a Nursing field (BSN)
- Req 2 years At least two years’ of Registered Nurse experience required.
- Req Interested in and/or ability to operate computer programs and software (associated with testing equipment).
- Req Demonstrated ability to effectively work with physicians, staff, and patients.
- Req Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision.
- Req Committed to excellence in patient care and customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pref Master's degree in a Nursing field (MSN)
- Pref 2 years Two years of radiology experience with interventional neuro-radiology and interventional vascular procedures preferred.
- Pref Specialty Certification
Required Licenses/Certifications:
- Req Registered Nurse - RN (CA Board of Registered Nursing)
- Req Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
- Req Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)
- Req Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
