Clinical Nurse B-Inpatient~NICU Murrieta — May be eligible for bonus
Job Description
The Clinical Nurse B-Inpatient utilizes discretion and independent judgment to provide, coordinate and document direct and indirect age-specific and developmentally appropriate quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Performs the nursing process (assessment, care planning, intervention, evaluation) in accordance with LLUMC-Murrieta's established Professional Practice Model (Duffy's Quality Caring Theory).
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Associate of Science Degree in nursing required, enrollment in a Bachelor of Science Degree nursing program within six months of hire with expected completion date two and a half years after enrollment required.
- Minimum of one year experience required.
- Employees are eligible to be promoted into the CN-C classification when criteria outlined in the Clinical Nurse Ladder handbook and job specifications outlined in CN-C job description are met.
Licensures and Certifications:
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association required.
- Additional Certification is required if assigned to the following cost centers/departments: 30001/ MH: Critical Care ICU- Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required. Completion of Basic Arrhythmia Recognition and Treatment course or equivalent required within 6 months of hire; 30503/ MH: Medical Acute- Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required.
