REGISTERED NURSE I/RELIEF NURSE
Job Description
Duties are performed in accordance with specific instructions, departmental policies and procedures and established general written standards of nursing care.
Positions are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Incumbents serve as professional role models and may provide direction to others. Nursing practice at this level demonstrates the application of basic assessment skills; independent judgment and action; and adherence to patient privacy, confidentiality, and security guidelines.
Qualifications
- A license to practice as a Registered Nurse issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- A valid California Class C Driver's License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
