Registered Nurse (RN), PACU, Full time, 11am-11:30pm
Job Description
Provides pre/post-operative nursing care to assigned patients utilizing the nursing process. Performs within the standards of professional practice and hospital policies and procedures, is a resource person for the post anesthesia care unit. Available to take call on a rotational basis as assigned and flexes with schedule as unit census requires.
Qualifications
- Current California RN license.
- Evidence of continuing education.
- Current BCLS card, ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire.
- Demonstrates expertise in direct patient care pre/post operative nursing.
- Critical care/ER experience and demonstrated competency in EKG interpretation.
- Prior experience in an acute care facility or formal classroom education in critical care.
