Job Description
Northridge Hospital Medical Center's LABOR & DELIVERY unit is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care during one of life's most transformative moments.
We are looking for individuals who demonstrate a commitment to patient care excellence and thrive in a collaborative team environment.As a Registered Nurse in our L&D unit, you will play a vital role in coordinating, supervising, and implementing patient care, drawing upon your professional expertise, knowledge, and evidence-based practice.
You will have the autonomy to practice at the highest standards, consistent with the Nurse Practice Act and our commitment to providing the best possible care.
Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year current acute care registered nursing experience in specialty area required.
- Minimum 1 year experience in L&D required.
- Must have successful completion of an accredited/approved Nursing program that Includes Labor and Delivery which includes ACLS and PACU for C-section delivery.
- Current certification in specialty area preferred.
- Experience with EHR (Cerner MediTech etc) preferred.
- Registered Nurse with current California License required.
- Current AHA BLS card required.
- Current certification in advanced fetal monitoring
- ACLS and NRP required.LA City Fire Care required within 90 days of hire.
