Job Description
The Clinical Nurse III is a licensed Registered Nurse who provides comprehensive care to a defined group of patients within a specific timeframe.
This role applies the nursing process in line with professional standards and best practices.In addition to providing direct patient care, the Clinical Nurse III contributes to ethical practices, continuing education, evidence-based care, quality improvement, leadership, collaboration, resource management, and patient advocacy.This nurse plays a key role in advancing clinical outcomes, fostering a safe and respectful care environment, and supporting continuous improvement in nursing practice.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License – REQUIRED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN) – REQUIRED
- Board Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWON) by WOCNB – REQUIRED
- Ability to conduct thorough physical nursing assessments
- Proficient in creating and implementing individualized care plans, including goal-setting and progress monitoring
- Skilled in evaluating care outcomes and adjusting interventions as needed
- Effective delegation skills that foster teamwork and leadership
- Strong foundation in patient and staff education related to clinical and care-related topics
