Nurse Practitioner-Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/Transplant – Children’s Hospital
Job Description
The Nurse Practitioner-Xpand Role practices in a Magnet recognized tertiary academic Children's Hospital with Level One Pediatric Trauma Designation. Practices in collaboration with the supervising physician and performs overlapping medical/surgical procedures for specialty population of patients with critical acuity and/or participates in service coverage needs 24 hours per day 7 days per week.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Master of Science Degree in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) and completion of NP curriculum required.
- Minimum three years of experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting or in a sub-specialty clinic environment required.
- Minimum one year of experience in area of NP specialty preferred.
Licensures and Certifications:
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license and California Nurse Practitioner Certificate required (certification pending/in process acceptable).
- National certification required.
