Job Description
The Registered Nurse is responsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients based on HMNH’s policies, procedures and all regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Licensure and Certification:
- Current California RN license
- Current BLS provider cardWorkplace violence/de-escalation training required
- Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing certification preferred
- Additional Licensure and Certification (BHU):
- LAC DMH LPS Evaluator & Allied Health Credentialed Professional required in 6 months post hire
Education:
- Associate’s degree in Nursing (ASN) required
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
Experience:
- Minimum (2) years psychiatric acute care experience preferred
- Minimum (1) year acute hospital experience preferred
