Burn Center Nurse Manager-West Valley
Job Description
The Nurse Services Supervisor 2 is responsible for supporting the clinical management and administration of the Burn Center.
The Nurse Services Supervisor 2 applies the nursing process to promote competency assessment, continuing education and leadership development of Burn nurses, Burn Technicians and ancillary staff in the Burn Center.
In addition, as a role model of professional behavior, the Nurse Services Supervisor 2 creates a professional nursing climate within the Burn Center to meet the diverse needs of the unit.
Qualifications
- BLS for Healthcare Providers ACLS, PALS5 years recent acute care experience and progressive leadership positions required
- Certified Burn Registered Nurse or Certified Critical Registered Nurse preferred, Advanced Burn Life Support, Advanced Burn Life Support Instructor Certification preferred
- Nursing Professional Leadership Certification (NEA-BC, NE-BC, CNL, CNML preferred) or obtain within 24 months
- Bachelors in Nursing required, Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred or Bachelors in Nursing and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Healthcare Administration (MHA), Public Health (MPH), Organizational Leadership (MOL), Healthcare Leadership preferred
